The Compliance
Committee

The Compliance Committee is a body established within Arte Collectum AB, and its main task is to ensure that all investments are supported by certain underlying documentation (such as certificates or authenticity), that investments are made in accordance with the funds’ investment strategy, and that investment decisions are not subject to conflicts of interest. This includes ensuring that works of art are purchased from established galleries, art dealers, art advisors, auction houses and private collectors. The works must be properly signed or accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, catalogue raisonné or the equivalent. All works traded on the secondary market must have a valid provenance. Furthermore, the Compliance Committee must ensure, among other things, that the Investment Committee invests a maximum of 20 percent in a single artist and a maximum of 15 percent in a single work.

The Compliance Committee is represented by leading audit, legal and corporate finance professionals Bo Ahlstrand, Jens Tillqvist, and Richard Goldman.
